Top Kruger National Park Hotel Reviews
Kruger Gate Hotel
"This hotel is unique one of a kind as you walk in it starts to resemble a treehouse as you unknowingly become suspended above the ground. The staff were helpful, helping you organize safaris, any other activities or trips you were thinking of. All the staff were always free for a chat and you could ask any questions, they were all very knowledgeable. The room was clean and well appointed they were serviced daily and in my experience the standard would be rated 5star. Booking a Safari is easy, advisable to contact the hotel via e mail well before you leave as places fill up fast. The Safari is a once in a lifetime experience you will never forget. The guides are excellent in a way that you have to experience to understand just how good they are, they see things you just would never have seen, they speak with each other all day so are updated on the latest happenings and they get you there before it’s gone. The hotel lap pool sits with a view across the river into the game reserve. Whilst I was there I saw Elephants, Hippos, Crocodile, Buffaloes and more right below the pool. There is opportunity to dine on the deck or in one of the viewing rooms. The main restaurant is a delight, they cater for everyone and if you can’t find anything you fancy I’d be shocked, shout out to the pastry chefs the deserts are fantastic. Would I go again, yes in a heartbeat, both my wife and I consider the best lifetime experience we have had and we’re not young."
Kruger Shalati - Train on the Bridge and Garden Suites
"Everything was outstanding! Nelly made our game drives into memories of a lifetime!! Ross and Dani"
Sabie River Bush Lodge
"Very pleasant stay by the river on the way back from Kruger. Pleasant staff, good food, rooms a little old but good facilities. They even wash the mud off the car each morning!"
aha Skukuza Safari Lodge
"Have stayed here several times and will continue to do so when coming to Kruger. It's a great property , really comfortable rooms with everything you need, and you cannot beat the location!"
Rhino Walking Safaris
". A very private location in the bush. Staff: friendly and very efficient. Very clean and well-organized rooms: warm duvets, scented linens, a full bathroom courtesy set, a flashlight for the night, and insect repellent spray are provided in the room. The cuisine is amazing: tasty, well-cooked, hot, and beautifully served. The guide is very courteous, knowledgeable, and helpful. An intense holiday experience in a magical setting. There are only four very large tents, and they are well-distributed in the bush. Everyone dines at a table together. The table is set with white, well-ironed tablecloths, and the glassware is worthy of a fine dining establishment."
Honeyguide Tented Safari Camps - Mantobeni
"Super accueil ambiance familiale et chaleureuse. Personnel courtois et avenant. Expérience exceptionnelle! Nous avons vu plusieurs animaux grâce à notre guide. Nourriture exceptionnelle! Site sublime en nature."
Elephant Point
"The complex has an excellent restaurant with great views of wildlife and the service was exceptional. The Gym was very good and its equipment was pristine. Our Boma was very private and it had nice views of various species of wildlife walking by every afternoon as they made their way into the bush for the evening."
Hoyo Hoyo Safari Lodge
"Our safari experience was truly unforgettable! Nestled within Kruger National Park, the lodge offered comfortable and clean cabins. The friendly staff went above and beyond to ensure each day was exceptional. A special shout-out to our guide, Andrew, whose expertise led us to see four out of the Big Five, along with many other animals in their natural habitat. Every morning and evening safari was a highlight, enhanced by thoughtful touches like coffee and snacks during the morning trips and wine and snacks in the evenings. Dining at the lodge was a delight, with gourmet meals served while we watched wildlife gather at the waterhole. This was a fantastic experience that I highly recommend!"
Leopard Sands Kruger Park, Autograph Collection
"Kruger park was only about 20 minutes away by drive. All of the staff were wonderful. So friendly. Whatever you wanted, they would get for you. I couldn’t single out one staff member because they were all perfect. The suites are gorgeous and spotless with a wonderful view of the Sabe River. The food was excellent and so plentiful. I couldn’t think of a better place to stay to get to Kruger and experience the game drives. The drivers were excellent and it was easy to see their love for the animals and nature of South Africa. Highly recommend."
